Guilford Food Bank

Since 1995, the Guilford Food Bank has served as a trusted emergency food pantry for local residents. Managed jointly by Guilford Interfaith Volunteers and the Town of Guilford’s Department of Social Services, it offers supportive, confidential help to anyone facing food-related challenges. The Guilford Food Bank is made available through generous donations and dedicated volunteers.

Food Distribution


Distribution hours are now by appointment only. Please call Social Services between Monday at 9 AM and Friday at 10 AM, to sign up. Fridays, 1 PM – 4:30 PM

Bags of non-perishable food are pre-packed according to household size. Perishable food, cleaning supplies, and toiletries are also available upon request.​​

The Shattuck Fund purchases fresh produce for Food Bank recipients. Please send your donations to the Shattuck Fund c/o Guilford Interfaith Volunteers, 310 State Street, Unit 200. Guilford, CT 06437

 

Each summer, The Len Hubbard Community Garden donates plots that are tended to and harvested by community volunteers specifically to raise fresh vegetables and herbs for the Guilford residents making use of the GFB.​
